How it works
Wynkie pays you a percentage of every subscription paid by pros you refer — and a smaller percentage from anyone they refer.
Direct (15%)
When a pro signs up via your referral link and upgrades to Plus or Pro, you earn 15% of their monthly Wynkie bill for 12 months from their first paid invoice.
Tier 2 bonus (5%)
When a pro you’ve referred goes on to refer other pros, you also earn 5% from those subscriptions, for 12 months per subscriber.
No cap on how many pros you refer. No cap on how many they refer.
Real-numbers example
Here’s how the math plays out for a free-plan pro with three direct referrals and two Tier 2 referrals.
Sara is on Wynkie Essentials (free). She shares her referral link with pros she knows. 2 sign up for Plus ($14.95/mo each) and 1 signs up for Pro ($29.95/mo). Sara earns $2.24/mo from each Plus subscriber and $4.49/mo from the Pro subscriber — $8.97/mo in direct commission.
Later, one of Sara’s Plus referrals refers 2 more pros who both upgrade to Pro. Sara also earns a 5% Tier 2 bonus from those: $1.50/mo from each = $3.00/mo.
Sara’s total: $11.97/mo— earned on the free Essentials plan. No cap on direct referrals, no cap on the Tier 2 bonus.

Does it work on the free Essentials plan?
Yes. Your Wynkie referral link works on every plan — including free Essentials. You don't have to be a paying subscriber yourself to earn commission.
When do I get paid?
Commission applies the moment a referral's monthly Wynkie invoice settles. You can take payouts as instant Wynkie credit (applies to your next bill, no minimum) or as quarterly cash to your bank via Stripe Connect ($25 minimum).
What if a referral cancels?
You keep every commission you've already earned. Future months stop earning from that subscriber, but you never owe back anything.
What if a referral gets a refund?
Commission is adjusted proportionally to match the refund. Wynkie never claws back cash already deposited in your bank — only future balance is reduced.
Is there a cap on how many pros I can refer?
No cap on direct referrals, and no cap on the 5% Tier 2 bonus from anyone they refer. Both apply for 12 months per subscriber.
How long does each subscriber earn me commission?
12 months, starting from each subscriber's first paid month. If they cancel and resubscribe later, a new 12-month window starts.
How do I get my referral link?
Sign up for Wynkie (free Essentials is enough) and open the Referrals page in your dashboard. Your link is short and personalized — e.g. wynkie.com/r/your-name.
Are commissions taxable income?
Yes. You are responsible for any taxes owed on commission earned through the program. For US recipients earning $600 or more in cash payouts in a calendar year, Stripe will issue a 1099-NEC form automatically.
